Facilitator Training
Facilitator Training
Be part of a one or multiple day experiential workshop with our horses, learning about the fundamentals of Equine Supported Therapy.
Our emphasis is giving respect to the horses and what they bring to sessions. As well as bringing in our cultural respect for Māori and other indigenous people. Our sessions are outdoors and again this element of being in nature is one of our foundation principles.
Our training reflects the Treaty of Waitangi principles which puts participants at the centre of teaching and learning, asserting that their experience is engaging, forward-looking and inclusive, and affirms New Zealand's unique identity.
The three “P’s”, as they are often referred to, are the principles of partnership, participation and protection. These principles are the underlying tenets of the Treaty as well being fundamental
